NY Daily News had this on the cover last week.

I would think David Woodley was worse then him. Anyone else?

Rex Goatman is the worst thing to happen to the city of Chicago since Steve Bartman and Mrs. O'Leary's cow........

That means he must have a pretty darn good team around him if he's there, doesn't it?

Oh, and what was Rothlisberger's QB Rating in last year's SB?

Woodley, Farragamo, Joe Cap, Craig Morton...

How about Trent Dilfer!

Except for Woodley. I think they were all better. (I never saw Kapp play.) Ferragamo led the Rams into the Super Bowl the minute Pat Haden was gone. He was pretty decent and Morton went to two Super Bowls with two different teams so he had to be better.

When you look back there have been some real mediocre starters, Dilfer, Ferragamo, Morton, Rex, Eason, Woodley, Ben Rothlis, the list is long.

I wonder if Grossman is concentrating on the game. The last thing the Bears want to hear two weeks after the game is that he was distracted by all the SB parties etc like he was for New Years Eve.

Tony Eason comes to mind for worst qb.

Big Ben's qb rating last year was 37.0. I will bet that Grossman's will be better.

Woodley only played in 2 full seasons as a pro QB. He played about 6 years and probably didn't even play in 50 total N.F.L. games.

He was by far the worst starting Super Bowl QB and was 1 of the worst to ever start an N.F.L. game. He was not very good at all and was just lucky enough to be in the Dolphins Camp when they had no one to QB the team then. And even though he did start it was Don Strock who was the #1 QB. Strock didn't start because he would have never lasted the whole season so Shula would just use him in the 2nd halfs of games and did need him to win a few of them.

David Woodley also died a couple of years ago and at least got to play some pro football and enjoy starting a Super Bowl.

Nice college career at LSU also.

I would, and don't call me a homer, I'm a double homer. I went to college with BB.

Lot of people will tell you that Joe Namath was one of the worst ever to play in a Super Bowl... I mean, the dude was completely mediocre as a QB, but his impact on the NFL was certainly worthly Hall of Fame material.

Go ahead, bash me... I didn't say I agreed with it... just throwing it out there.
