After the payout status says approved, is that when it goes out, Or does the status change to something else like paid or processed first?

That is only when it is approved. The payout goes out after that.
I'm still waiting on a cashout I requested on the 21st which was approved on the 23rd for $2K via courier.

Yeah i'm in the same boat, the thing says approved since last week. Do they send a tracking number or something? Or does the check just show up one day out of the blue?

I was told they would send me a tracking number. WOW do I miss e-checks. But not concern with Bodog, think they are really solid. They just got caught up in this mess and are working thru it.

I could bump my own thread from before the weekend... but FYI to everyone... I just traded e-mails with Bodog customer service earlier tonight.... they let me know that "you will get the payout through FedEx" and that "sorry, they haven't received tracking number from FedEx".

So it (the check by courier payout for $3K) is in the system somewhere & I'm not worried either, really.

Thanks, Bozo. That was very interesting to see your timestamps.

Let me try mine... because it's very similar except not being able to get the blasted FedEx tracking number... so that I can instruct FedEx to hold it for me to pick it up manually (as I'm not home to receive delivery)....

Requested cash out from Bodog via Western Union: Mon 1/22 at 10am EST.

Bodog sent e-mail recommending check by courier method 28-29 hours later (Tues 1/23 at 3pm EST).

One hour later, Bodog approves/reduces my amount: Tues 1/23 at 4pm EST.

No Fed Ex tracking # email received.

Tonight, asked Bodog via email, they don't have tracking nbr for me.

So, it could be arriving tomorrow or another few days, I have no clue. Oh well. Glad you got yours quickly, Bozo! That's great to know, though!

Bodog told me that they are not giving checks to U.S customers, and western union or ewallet was the only payout solution for the time being for U.S players.

Already a new update, a good one! I never got tracking number, but I was late leaving my condo this morning, and bingo, FedEx came by with my beloved check. Without saying too much, this was issued from Canada. I will leave other details to your imagination as it's probably obvious. (I haven't gotten to cash it yet as I had to go directly to work... but intend to do so within a couple of hours.)

GL for those who are waiting.... you shall get it soon. :toast:

the only option on bodog's cashout page is just pay by courier mail or express mail. I don't see anything for WU.:ughhh:

From what I understand, Bodog had "Money Transfer" withdrawal option available on Monday, January 22nd. That *was* for Western Union. They were planning on allowing one free WU payout once a week up to $3K and waive the WU fees. This was what poopah was talking about.

But by Tuesday, January 23rd, the only option left was "Check by Courier"... then a few days ago, adding "Check by Mail (express)". Evidently, this is just a guess, but if they were going to charge us the maximum of $160 for one Western Union additional payout request of between $2,501-$3,000.... they realized WU was not the way to go anymore.

So right now, yep, the right information for withdrawal options are: check by courier or check by mail.

No, before you get confused by puremoney's comment, this is what I figured:

Check by Courier usually is reserved for higher payouts, apparently, because they say: "there is a $20.00 courier fee that will be waived for check payouts of $2,000.00 or more."

Otherwise, Bodog probably wants to save us money by not charging us a $20 fee if you only request $1K and sending this via "check by mail" method. It does not mean that puremoney "couldn't use check by courier" but Bodog probably convinced puremoney that "your only option is check by mail" (without being charged a fee).

Cheers,

Thanks. I would be interested to know how much longer "check by mail" would end up being. Bodog makes it sound like "15 business days" on their page!? Yikes, hope it's faster for you.

My payout for was 1000 on the nose. The only option when i went to cashout was the check by mail. It said only 5-7 business days and no fee. i didnt need the money any time soon so i figured this was fine and just cashed out without calling about any other options. i only cashed out about half my bodog account so this really wasnt a big deal. I trust bodog right now much more than about any other site.

if this was any other book besides bodog, i would hate waiting 15 days, but with them, i am not worried.
