Im looking to possibly move to colordado. Im looking for a area close to denver so i can hopefully get a job in it and be kind of close to all the sporting events, etc. IF anyone has any feedback about colorado please post in here. Also how is the job market currently. Im pretty much entry level information technology

Entry level IT is probably pretty tight right now. In town is getting really expensive, but the burbs are a "little" more reasonable. Then again, if you're coming from NYC, that's irrelevant.

If you want to be closest to the largest number of tech companies, your best choice is the southeast burbs. If you talk to a couple employment agencies, you should be able to get a pretty decent idea of what kind of $$$ you'd be looking at.

Lived there for 3 years, We lived in Englewood area, suburb of Denver about 15 minutes south(of the city), we loved it there... Apartments in that area (high end) "The Marks apartments" $1 a square ft, houses not sure, TT can comment. I haven't been there in a while (3 years) so thing's may have changed a bit. I know the population was booming, T-rex project had just gotten under way when we left. Anyway, there are many suburbs surrounding the city just like most major cities in the US.

i've been here 20+ years, it's a buyer's market rite now...SE suburbs is a nice area to live in...if you get a job at the DTC, it's a 15-25 minute commute..don't know how long you're planning to stay, but i would definitely recommend buying, as the market is geared towards the buyers rite now...
