I think Paula Abdul was drunk on Idol

Taped it and now watching it. She was acting very loose, had to be half-drunk. Then all of a sudden, on the next segment, they said she had to leave for a family obligation. Bullshit. Bitch was drunk and was told to go home and sober up.

I dont know, if that was the case, she would have never been on last season. She was toasted more often than not. She did appear to be pretty far out there tonight, but nothing out of the ordinary for her.

On a side note, I can't even believe I'm chiming in. I never thought in a million years I'd be following this show. Just goes to show what influence an 11-year-old daughter can have on dad, I suppose (gotta blame someone)

I hear ya. I never gave it a chance, and just figured it was gay. My brother got addicted to watching it, so I've followed it so far this year. Some of that stuff is hilarious.

I would be willing to bet that Paula has an alcohol problem. She embarrased herself tonight on national tv.

I don't know anything about Paula, but that 17 year old blonde with the "Blue-eyed Bombshell" tie-shirt and worn jeans was the most adorable thing I've ever seen. With her looks and her terrible story of her father's suicide, they had to have her back. She could carry a tune, but wow...she was adorable.

She was okay I thought...I don't think she will go far though....Her dad is alive but paralyzed I think that was the story....sounded like a poor girl from the south, dad in jail Kelly Pickler story for this season to me.

Much better story...the dad caught the girls step mom sleeping with another man and it wasn't the first time. He shot her and then shot himself. :lol:

When I saw her and heard her story I immediatlely though about Kelly Pickler from last season. Blonde with a rough life and a good singing voice. We'll see if voters want someone like that again this season.

I know it seems a little gay, and I never watch this show, but I have a friend visiting and he watches it. I thought I'd give it a shot. I was surprised at how entertaining it was. There's a lot of comedy and human interest, and the singing is actually secondary. The contestants are REAL people, and that's what makes it work. Their emotions and actions are genuine. It was better than a Tonight Show, with guest interviews that are so rehearsed and contrived it literally makes you gag.

C'mon...that lady that looked like Big Bird...you can't make stuff like that up.
