I dont need the money in 2 days with the fedex check, but is the tracking number worth the $30 bucks? Regular mail is free.

How safe is the mailing system in ANTIGUA?

Thanks.

Chop, the regular mail can be dicey. There is no way to track it down should it become "lost". Then you will have to wait for verification, etc. I wouldn't risk a large check. Just chalk it up to the cost of doing business.

According to Scottm at Betcris, who I trust, they have issues sending checks by mail.... The checks go through multiple low income areas and it is very likely someone somewhere along the way may well try to cash your check.

I agree. It's well worth the piece of mind to not have to sit around for 2-4 weeks wondering if your check is in route.

it depends where they are sending the checks from, for example, when I get a check from neteller it comes Calgary, so I dont mind going with the 2$ regular mail option.....

in this climate, however, I certainly feel 35$ is worth having a tracking number. If the withdrawal amount is large enough. Of course, if you are only withdrawing 100$ or 200$, then maybe a check by mail isnt a problem.

Book was very late mailing my check so they decided FedEx it without asking me first. I wasn't home, so the old lady next door signed for it. Then forgot that she had it. FedEX wouldn't do anything. ("Thats our policy") Don't remember if I called my book or not. It finally appeared on my doorstep unopened after her son came to visit the next weekend
