Obviously going to any pro game (for free)its easy to make a good time happen, even a Celts game. But man they suck and I just cant bring myself to watch them bottom out tonight. It hurts to watch this team play. These seats are killer and Ive had them a couple of times this season but I can have no part of this.

i wouldnt take them either...finding parking in that area of the city SUCKS...its cold out...traffic sucks....beers are expensive in the garden...ditto on the food, i usually like to go out early if i do see a game and drink at beer works etc...thats more money...even with the free tickets...your still gonna end up spending a decent amount of coin....not worth it IMO....especially considering its a wednesday night...friday night different story...

i must have told myself 5X today...1more month....1more month...and we havent had a bad winter at all....

still i cant wait for the spring, my favorite time of year...even though march1 is still considered winter and we could get a foot of snow just seeing the light at the end of the tunnel is uplifting to the spirit....i love the spring in the city....

Tickets are free but............
Room at the Holiday Inn on Cambridge St $89
Two hot dogs, four beers at the game $60
More beer, shots of Grand Ma, Jack & cokes in Faneuil Hall $100
Many rejections and a wank later I'm still dropping some coin.

That said i'll still em if they are on offer. I can be there by 2nd Q.

lol, ya i played him over29 over lal team total 102' (which i thought was low) and over the game...nice 3-0...poor celts and b's....

i was listening to weei today and they were actually talking about the celts for more than like 10 minutes.. it was funny...i feel bad for cities like cleveland where for years every major sports team STUNK...98% of the year here its redsox and pats...the pats were the talk all last week...and its still a week or 2 early for serious redsox spring training talk (they still take up most of the time anyways) but nothing much to talk about except c's and b's...YIKES!

talk about trying to pick off the bones a dead carcass...

I'm driving home listening to the Lakers' game on local LA radio and it hits me. Always take the over on the game Kobe returns from a suspension.

:ohno:

Glad you hit.

Nose bleeds for $10

I have been there a few times, lol. I should have checked myself but 30 for a pair leads us to believe it is not the $10 seats.

Ever been to the Blue Grotto in federal hill, Joy?

Kobes great and alll but....

To be honest Id rather have watched the BMX riders at halftime than the C's or Kobe.I hate the Lakers and I hate Kobe.Nothing at this game worth shelling out the extra 150.00 or so it wouldve taken to make this a memorable night.Like I said I get theese same tickets on a regular basis and Ive seen Kobe play a few times over the years...no big deal.

Saw Incubus in town the night before and to be honest I was still a little banged up.To watch the Celts tie their own record for straight losses disgusts me a lifelong Celts fan.I try and give them the benefit of the doubt and hope someday they get back to greatness but thats years and years away Im afraid.
