(I received this email today)

Hello Sports Fans,

The Big Game is this Sunday! Are you ready? World Sports Exchange, WSEX.com is ready for you. This is our 11th Championship (not many operations can say that without their nose growing) and to celebrate it we are offering all of our sports customers an 11% BONUS on all deposits between now and Sunday's kickoff.

Straight bets, parlays, teasers, and proposition bets, we have them all. WSEX offers the HIGHEST online limits in the business, all with the click of a mouse.

Do you like parlays? WSEX has the BEST parlay odds in the industry? Instead of using fixed tables we calculate the payout from the actual odds.

Do you like to bet the game while it is in progress? World Sports Exchange brought it to you first. For the Championship, WSEX will be offering live wagering on the point spread, the moneyline, the total, and the first half. Bet from the kickoff until the last second ticks off of the clock. If the momentum changes, so can your bet. Enjoy the thrill of live wagering at World Sports Exchange!

Don't get caught unprepared this Sunday. Contact one of our payment specialists at WSEX.com and make sure your account is ready to go.

And while you are waiting for the kickoff, wander over to the internet's only NO RAKE poker room. We have refunded over $20 million in rake since its inception. Check it out and start saving today.

Remember, if you don't have action, nothing can happen!

*Maximum bonus is $220 on a $2,000 deposit. Bonus requires a 4x rollover in the sportsbook. WSEX uses the amount risked in calculating bonus rollovers. "Live betting" does not count towards rollover requirements. Unearned bonus money may not be used in the poker room. Accounts without sportsbook activity for 30 days will have their deposit bonus rescinded.

**World Sports Exchange, WSEX.com, is a licensed sportsbook and casino regulated by the Gaming Commission of Antigua and Barbuda. WSEX is wholly located in Antigua and all wagers take place on our server in Antigua.

SS, sounds like a good deal...two questions if you don't mind?

1. Are book-to-book transfers eligible for the bonus (say moving funds from Matchbook to WSEX) ?

2. Am I still eligible for the bonus if I'm net + in my play at WSEX ?

Thanks for your help.

I would doubt that very much, but im not sure.

I suggest you call their customer service to get 100% concrete answers before you send any money.

I just copied and pasted this offer from an email I got so I havent been in direct contact with WSEX.

As one who's been affected, I wouldn't exactly call is "slowpaying". It all goes back to their 3rd party check processor being overloaded. That story has been very consistent across repeated communications with WSEX/Matchbook with various posters. I think it's just a bump in the road.

"Overload" means they can't keep up with the demand, but SOME people are being paid - just not as many as have requested.
But I haven't read of ANYONE being paid by either of these books for 10 days or so.

Regardless of the reasons, this is certainly relevant info, which SportSavant was no doubt aware of when he started this thread.

It does not mean they cannot keep up with demand at all, it simply means that there is a 'transition' right now qhch is causing some delays.

think about it for a second, the volume must have gone up several thousand percent at their processors.... it will take time for everyone to make adjustments.

In the meantime, there are several people (including myself) who will most certainly give a shop like WSEX the benefit of the doubt given how squeaky clean they have operated for the past several years. As we speak people are reporting getting their Fedex Tracking numbers in the very thread you talk about now.

Me too! I'll have at least one check in hand tomorrow, it appears.

Thanks for pointing out the tracking #'s now being sent, SportSavant.

WSEX has always been one of my fave books, so the last 10 days was really disappointing.

I hope this means that they've gotten it together now.

I've also been paid by Matchbook, though by moneybookers rather than check.

FWIW, I was told that they hoped to get through the backlog of requests today.

I would love to say that they have, but I beleive that there will be some back log and some delays going forward....

as wilheim stated, patience is the key of the day....

WSEX is one book I'm not worried about at all, even if they wouldn't give me the bonus. :Guitarman

I've been with this shop for ever, if they stiff you or shut down this industry will soon be history.

I recently opened an account at WSEX. Don't know which deposit option is good for me. Seems like I only have several options--WSEX money transfer, credit card, bank wire, or instadebit.

I don't want to use credit cards, and I don't like instadebit either as it is an option for deposit only and not for withdrawal.

Is bank wire safe? How about WSEX money transfer?
