I once lived about a block from this pic in downtown Escanaba........on the corner above a bar in downtown Escanaba.

The year was 1987

Escanaba? That isn't Michigan. We consider that Packer country.

Michigan is a very different state because of its size. Places like Escanaba and Detroit are 7 hours away and COMPLETELY different lifestyles.

What were you doing here, then? Why did you leave?

Would be great if it was sometime in July, so those playing in WSOP events could attend without having to make another trip after the series is over.

Beautiful

Nice hiking trails, waterfalls, cross-country skiing trails, and some great little watering holes.

Winter is a bitch though and putting up with the word "heh" after every sentence spoken from the natives.

I have no idea look for an update I would assume a few weeks after the Superbowl

It would be awesome if its in JULY or a different time then the 3rd week in august...it will give others that can not go in aug a chance to make it

I doubt there will be another bash here in the US. Sites like this are also targets in the current investigation. I hope I am wrong

I hope you are wrong. This is the mindset we must all avoid. We are doing nothing illegal and I would hope the US gov't would have more important things to worry about then adults running around Vegas having a good time but who knows anymore, sad but true.

While I know we are both on the same page, I could not diagree with you more on the bolded part. That line of thinking has cost me 60k with BOS and a pending 70k with Neteller.

people from this site can get together in vegas no matter what would happens to this site if what you say comes to be , which I doubt WVU

Vancouver is beautiful in July and has Canada's largest poker room in one of our largest casinos as well a racebook. You'd need to go online for sports but at least it wouldn't be illegal like Nevada.

Perhaps management could even convince Calvin to assist in hosting this group?
