I've been in the Miami area since Tuesday. Around that same time there was a seismic adjustment in the ticket price, especially for junk. Currently all of the brokers have filled their orders except for really good seats (which are hard to find). Meanwhile, there are thousands of upper level endzone and corner seats that don't have a home. As a result, these will hit the street on Sunday. There are so many of them that anyone looking to buy can probable score them for $500 to $1000 each, maybe less close to game time. The scalpers/brokers that invested in seats at 3 dimes a pop are going to get crushed.

None of the scalpers (I am not one of these) have made a dollar here, except for the ones that cashed races at Gulfstream (it's like a scalpers convention there!). Contrary to what I've written before, they'll all be outside the stadium on Sunday looking to cover expenses.

Thought the NFL banned tailgating for 3 miles around the stadium. Or is the NFL a clone of the Gov. like allowing betting on ponies through the internet and not on any other sports?

That's great to hear thanks for the update.
I'm leaving for Florida later tonight and will be ticket shopping Sunday morning.

was watching WGN the other night and they were following 4 buddies who flew down to Miami for the game...2 of them had tix, the other 2 did not. Well the dumb-ass bears fan that bought the tix put them in his checked luggage. Cameras are rolling, talking to the guys about the game and everything while they wait on their luggage....guess which bag was lost!! HILARIOUS!!! what a dumb fuck...I think he had paid $2500 a pop...can't remember price though...why the fuck would you check them?? These chicago people keep getting dumber by the minute.:ohno: Never saw the follow up if they found his bag or not.

Are a lot of these tickets being sold at an area outside the stadium?
Any idea of the best are to look?
I had heard these guys sell a lot in hotel bars.

Back after a long day on South Beach. The ticket has more or less stabilized and may actually start moving upward (a friend of mine is predicting this). It's basically priced at around $2000 to get in the door. Many, many deals are being made near 16th street and southward on Collins and on Ocean. I'm now less certain that there will be a lot of seats around the stadium.

I was at the hotel for CBS employees. They were loading several buses to go to a party. I saw this really old guy who looked like he barely had a pulse attempting to walk to one of the buses. Upon further inspection, it was Andy Rooney. He looked slightly better than a corpse.

Nobody is selling tickets at the stadium. I would say most of the activity is near South Beach. The stadium is about a 50 minute drive from south beach.
I expect there to be more activity around South Beach tommorrow morning. It's possible that tickets will be sold around the stadium in the afternoon before game time, but it's hard to gaurantee that.

There's no tailgating allowed in the parking lots. There is a designated area next to the stadium for the Official NFL Tailgate Party. This event is at every Super Bowl and requires both a game ticket and an NFL Tailgate party ticket to attend. At last check brokers were paying a decent sum for NFL Tailgate tickets.
