Why aren't there any black Punters or Kickers?

I'll outline the main theories. I believe theory A the most.

A) The emphasis on the black youth is to play in the NFL as a RB or WR, and being a professional Kicker or Punter isn't impressive. It is similar to the emphasis on them to be a famous rapper. Basically, it's all about the glam and glory. The average person doesn't recognize the great NFL kickers so they don't want to do it.

B) Blacks tend to lack the physical ability to kick or punt at the same level as whites. I don't believe this one because blacks should be great kickers and punters because of their high testosterone levels and massive lower body strength (ever seen a white guy with an ass like Kirby Puckett that could fly like him?).

However, I was watching Pros vs Joes and these black guys were horrible at placing kicks and punting, even though they were bigger than the white guys they were competing against. They probably just had really bad coordination/balance, because punting/kicking isn't exactly an art form.

C) The unequal distribution is just a random occurrence.

U. of Iowa grad and long time Miami Dolphin was a very good punter and the only player that I know of to wear a wristwatch while playing.

Robey was great and died to young at age 43, I thought Tampa Bay had a black place kicker at one time.

I loved watching Reggie Roby point. Remember him as a kid.

The best kicker in college football this yr is Medlock from UCLA. He should get drafted. There was also Donald Iguebuike (spelling?) for the Bucs and Danny Kight who was a kickoff specialist for the Colts, Chargers and others.

Ratio of black/white youths involved in soccer is one reason.

What kid grows up with inspirations of being a kicker?

After seeing this thread, he was first picture that came to mind. His flexibility on his punts were amazing. That sounds gay.

Having a brotha as a kicker or punter would be a waste of speed.

Try and remember threads like these the next time someone whines about how the "media" always makes a big deal about race.
