Friggin matchbook.com has no dignity when it comes to delivering what they say they will regarding live betting.

All day they promote live betting between NC/NC State...then last minute no live betting and no explanation on why this game was pulled.

The same shit happened again tonight between Kansas and Texas Tech. I waited 2 hours to bet live betting and right before tipoff no live betting.

As an owner of several websites myself, I would at least let my clients aware on the home page that technical issues would not allow a particular game to be made available for live betting. There was nothing stated on there homepage why the games were not available for live betting. Total horseshit on there part and a waste of my time.

ADDING INSULT TO INJURY ---no customer support available either.:youmad: :WTF:

GRRRRRRR ---

Pinnacle never did this and boy do I miss that top notch book...

"Passion" may be no Miss Manners, but I think he's got a reasonable point. Matchbook takes down live betting markets if something unexpected happens and we can't get market-maker pricing for the game. This has happened maybe a few times this year. But with liquidity on the site improving, live markets are starting to trade even without a market maker. The pricing isn't nearly as tight, but I think we could still leave the occasional game up with no market maker. The place where this would have the most impact, I think, is in NFL markets, where we've typically had market maker pricing for pointspreads and totals, but not on the moneylines

Matchbook, is there any progress on consolidated commission for alternate spreads in a single market?

For example the superbowl has spreads of 6.5, 7.0 and 7.5 but a loss at one of these spreads does not influence the taking of full commission on a win at another spread. As has been pointed out before spreads on sides and totals are really single and not multiple markets. In fact a well known book uses drop down menus to select the spread ;-).

Woody,

Markets are still being treated individually for commission purposes. The aggregation issue is a little thornier than I realized when I first posted about it. If you can bear with me, I'll post a separate thread on this after the weekend and we can have a roundtable discussion on it.
