I do not blame you but I am asking. How do you deposit check Via ATM? I can withdraw obviously all the time but where the heck to you put the check? I am following the advice here if you catch my drift. This is truly not a joke but I understand if you want to bust me. Thanks...

There is a slot in the ATM that when you push DEPOSIT will open up and allow you to insert an envelope with the check in it.

I go on the outside ATM usually and there are none outside. SO maybe they have em on the inside. Thank you.

nothing to be ashamed of. i also have wondered this for a long time. as you do not get a deposit slip so how do you know.but now i guess i know thanks for asking

Actually if you try looking inside that deposit slot they will have it in a flap. I know some banks dont even require the envelopes when making a deposit.

You'll be fine. Actually the screen should walk you through it step by step. Just make sure its not busy or those people trying to withdraw that $60 behind wont give you those evil stares.

Somewhere on the machine there should be a thing you can lift up and pull out the envelope to put your deposit in. Some places have them next to the machine. I always grab a huge stack so I have them at home and don't have to fill it out in the car at the machine. Whatever you do, ALWAYS GET A RECEIPT. Twice B of A told me they never got my deposit. The second time I showed them the receipt. Much easier getting my deposit credited.

Bank of America ATMs now have this great feature where you can feed your Dollar Bills or Checks straight into a slot when making a deposit. So no more having to mess around with envelopes.

Depositing via an atm machine changes nothing as there will still ba a hold on your check and you'll recieve a phone call or you'll be flaged for your next visit to the bank.

That is if your check is of a suspisious nature.
