Thats something I have always believed.

I am usually a fan of early money, just not in the NFL.

We'll see if I'm right.

See if you're right?

Dont you think you need a larger data sample to prove this? not just one game?

Thats not really what I meant.

I mean even I was wrong I would still believe that.

I am not basing my belief on one game or trying to prove something if thats what you mean.

I think the early money is the right side. Late money is "sucker" money! Just look at the results.

Maybe a better reference would be LATE LATE money.

The last 15 minutes of wagering leading up to kickoff is undoubtedly "sucker" money.

In defense of ROB, I think he means the last 2-34 hours overall.

Late money wins more often than not in the NFL, at least if it's
the money coming into Pinnacle, and SIA lines are moving in the
opposite direction, to the point that they are scalpable with Piny.

Late money will be on the Bears today.

You really believe that!?!?

Even with the number down to -6.5??

Surprised you think strongly on that.

AS I HAVE STATED FOR TWO WEEKS, IF I WERE BOOKING THIS GAME, I WOULD NOT HAVE MOVED OFF THE NUMBER SEVEN THE ENTIRE TIME...........believed then, as I do know, that -7 using small price changes with the number WAS/IS the way to go.

Again, just my philisophy on this one...........

Yup. Because if you like the bears that half point is going to play with your head.

I agree about the whole 7 thing but the bottom line is the books don't want to be caught the ONLY number on town on a team than it could get ugly for them. I thought you meant since Friday or so the late money has been on the Bears is what I am saying. didn't it get up to 7 at most places late this week (I haven't paid any attention to it as I am betting Colts ML). Really late late money for sure is Colts but I meant late in the week/this morning. Once it gets to 6.5 it will obviously go back towards 7 then bounce down to 6.5, it isn't coming off those 2 numbers. In the big scope of things it will all work out to 50/50 or so as it has seen the classic sharp versus square bets on the Bears versus Colts.

Normally the public late $$ would come in on the favorite Colts. However I believe that since "Da Bears" are such a popular National team..... The late $$ could easily stay fairly neutral. - 6 1/2 and +7 is of course a dangerous place for the Sportsbooks to be sitting on. However I really think that regardless of which side you are on, it is only prudent for gamblers to have some $$ riding on the game finishing on 7 as both 6 1/2 and 7 are easily available.

Sharp money (guy who bets alot) probably has alot of AFC -2.5 tickets and now will combat that with Bears +7. Pct of people today will be on Colts by far but the overall money I would assume is the Bears (esp if 7's appear).

All in all it still will work itself out to be you better have -6.5 Colts or +7 Bears if you bet this game and these teams or you did a bad job of betting this.
