Super Bowl weather question...and a comment.

When was the last time it rained at the Super Bowl? I could be wrong, but I don't ever remember watching a Super Bowl where there was even slight rain falling at any time.

Now to my comment -- GLOBAL WARMING MY ASS!!!!!
The sun is actually shining bright as I type, which has made the temp rise to 2 at high noon in Northeast Ohio. The wind chill has "risen" to minus-21.

You are correct BK, I just got done reading an article that states it has never rained during a super bowl through it's entire history.

Dan Marino said he has played on this field when there has been light rain and it wont effect the footing the field drains well

and the forecast calls for just light rain.

I'm 20 Min From Stadium...weather Will Be No Factor.

There was just a live report and they said Rex was concerned about the grip on the ball and the footing. He rubbed the balls again to try to get a better grip.

If anything, the weather may be affecting people's psyche.

Believe there was a drizzling precip in 1st qtr when Steelers played Vikes at old Tulane Stadium on a grey afternoon that was downright chilly for Cajun country...Steelers garnered ring finger win.
