Hot crab dip just sounds awesome (and I'm a big fan of hot dips-especially seafood).

"ALL HAM" PORK AND RIBS
Here in the State of South Carolina, we take great pride in our heritage. Our tradition at Melvin’s since “1939” are five key ingredients to the World’s Best Bar-B-Que and Ribs. The seasoned hickory wood, the specially designed pits, the temperature, how we handle our meats after they are cooked and the most important is the topping with the World Famous “1933” Melvin’s Southern Golden® “Secret Recipe” Sauces!

We are indeed proud to serve the Best USDA Carolina Pork “All Ham” Bar-B-Que and our “St. Louis-Style" Ribs. We cook them over smoldering live Hickory coals a full 24 hours and the ribs a full 7 hours. No matter the style (wet or dry) all of our meats have one thing in common; our chefs have been taught by the “Chief Pitmaster” himself, Melvin Bessinger! You, too, can see why People Magazine voted Melvin’s the Best in America and the Post & Courier and The Charleston City Paper voted us the best in Charleston.

lol, its not like chips bought at the store......its this

6 (6-inch) white pita breads
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2 teaspoons minced fresh parsley leaves
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon Essence, recipe follows
Pinch salt
1 cup finely grated Parmesan

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Cut each pita bread in half horizontally to make 2 rounds. (There will be 12 total rounds.)

In a small bowl, cream the butter with a rubber spatula or wooden spoon. Add the parsley, garlic, Essence, and salt and mix well. Spread about 1 1/2 teaspoons of the mixture across each pita round. Sprinkle the top of each evenly with 1 heaping tablespoon of the cheese.

Place the rounds on a cutting board and using a pizza wheel, cut each into 5 strips. Transfer to a large baking sheet and bake until golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes. (The strips will continue to crisp as they cool.)

Serve warm or at room temperature as hors d'oeuvres or snacks, or as accompaniments to soup or salad.

no particular order really and forgot to add wine to the list for female guests. just some small snacks for pre and in game and pizza for anyone else that wants to dig in. water, gatorade, beer, wine, soda pop, just to have a variety for whoever wants what.

took 3 high powereds just now and will take a drag or two off the pipe to get things rolling. not a heavy smoker by any means, just the casual and periodic pull or two on certain occasions (this being one)for a small buzz. drink some cold gatorade leading up to the game then will dip into the beer. quick lightning sit n go at halftime and more casual sit n go post game.

going light today with probably an estimated 12 beers and gram of grass. some snacks, cold gatorade pre game, and 6 HP's.
