Why does VIP have a rule you can only make an if bet off the game that starts first? What advantage can you get by doing it the other way?

Bet Colts in the Superbowl and an if bet on the NBA game that starts at 1pm

To answer the question, there is NO advantage doing the later game 1st then earlier game 2nd.
