Rx BASH at TB Lightning game.....FEB 23rd vs. BRUINS

Fellas (and ladies), it's certainly something that's long overdue.

Since we'd likely do better with some advance notice, I want to nominate two dates for consideration by all TBay area Rxers and others who might be able to make it in.

FRIDAY night Feb 23 vs BOSTON 8pm

This of course gives a nice break to those who work Mon-Fri style jobs. Post game Friday night in Channelside etal combined with a pre-game Happy Hour could make this a hell of a fun night.

SUNDAY afternoon Feb 25 vs PITT 5pm

This presents a different style. We can convene starting early afternoon in Channelside for drinking/eating. And then we're done by about 8pm for fairly easy trip home for those who work a Monday morning job OR a couple hours of post-game for those who can hang.

After Feb 25, no Home games until March 16

IF THIS is a workable idea, it would be good to agree on the date by say Sun Feb 11 so that tickets could be purchased and any out-of-towners could make travel plans.

I personally lean to Friday.

I don't really know any of you, even forum wise as I like to fly under the radar but could probably make it out even though I'm in Orlando. Know the Tampa area well, as I lived there for years.

VIKING, that's what cell phones with video cameras are for.

You can share with us live feed from snowbound, wintery, cold, bitter NYC and we will in return you give you live feed from the outside seating at SHOTS where we'll all likely be in shorts and golf shirts.

I've got this thread bookmarked and will dink it back to the front page every couple days until Feb 12.

IF YOU want to join the Rxers, email fishead@therx.com and he can then forward to me.

I can likely score the grouped seats in one purchase, but would of course appreciate being reimbursed ASAP.

Perhaps an interim Rx Happy Hour in Channelside area the week before for just a couple hours to swap tickets and $$?

I could even likely hold the tickets until Game Night, but only for those who can really confirm their arrival.

I fly under the radar here also, but I'd love to come. Love this site, and it would be cool to meet some local posters. The Friday game is best for me. If that's the choice, FH, please shoot me an email if you have extra tickets.

WELL SINCE MY LEAD POST, it sure looks as if Fri Feb 23 is the consensus favorite, so I'm officially blowing off the backup date of Sunday afternoon game.

FISHEAD, reply to my email, bud so we can start lining up the duckets.

I've got fairly decent cash flow with a monthly paycheck on the 11th if there's any need to front up some $$.

80% sure I'm in....long time B's fan and I've had this game on my calendar for a while. I just need to check my travel schedule, as I've started a new job and I'm not sure where I'll be when. I should know in a day or so.
