Could be true but the kid is skilled and probably needs a bit of humble pie or some guidance. The point here is that he is getting jobbed big time.

The ref flopped like Vlade Divac, but Mayo was acting like a major punk after he dunked. Walkin around the court and staring players down.

At first I thought it was bad acting too. But after I view the video it seems as though his feet may have gotten tangled up with OJ's feet. Certainly there was no significant body contact there.

He deserved the T foul for not leaving the ball alone after the dunk. Read the rules, he can't go back carrying it, the ball game isn't finished, even though he may see no point in respecting his rivals.

bottom line is the kid is an asshole who at one time had his head on straight, you guys are putting to much focus on the ref and way to little on the unsportsmanlike behavior that is now the "norm" in sports.

No. We are talking about the issue at hand not that fact that he is an asshole or great guy...

Either the ref tripped or he flopped and the fact that OJ had to get a court order to allow him to play again is crazy... He does seem like an arrogant ahole but thats USC coachs problem to deal with...

I agreed with you quantumleap, until I saw this:

Now, I still can't decide whether the ref completely flopped or not, but he wasn't tripped. Mayo definitely bodied him before he fell.

Olddirty-- I think everyone is missing the point -- sure the reffed flopped.. but what the hell is a 17 year old doing questioning an official and running his mouth to an adult... or to the police that had to pull him off the court... It shouldn't have taken a court order for him to play HIS PARENTS SHOULD HAVE SAT HIM DOWN.......we always blame someone else for our own faults!!!!!! GET SOME DAMN DISCIPLINE AND THIS ISN'T AN ISSUE!!!
