You are right- They will still suck. However, they play in the NFC so they could very well be contenders again. I just can't see Donovan McNabb being traded though. To big of a guy in Philly. They worship the man there.

McNabb has a much of a chance at quarterbacking the bears next season as Jim McMahon

You're wrong about McNabb being worshipped. He's getting killed in the media right now. But he'd never be traded, his contract is too big that it would fuck up the Eagles cap.

Absolutely no way Grossman takes another snap in a Chicago Bears game.

you wanna bet on that kruser? I'll bet you he plays all 16 games next year and earns a new deal... As I have said before I have never once in my life seen a first year starter be scrutinized so much...

SO should Big Ben be traded out of pitt after this year...? because he didn't play well....

Knowing that Turner and smith both think he is going to be a star in this league I would like to bet you some sum of money that he is there starter next year...

This is like giving up on a Major League starting pitcher after one year if he went say 14-12 or so...

Most Philly fans and media love the way Donovan plays. But off the field he continues to put his foot in his mouth. He denies his pukin in the SB even though 4 teammates (5 if you wanna include TO) have said that he was dry heaving during that last drive. He's not a leader in the locker room (which is why everyone loved the fire shown by Jeff Garcia when he was in). He has his parents making stupid comment left and right (like his dad's "black on black crime" comment about the TO feud).

Donovan is a sensitive guy and is still hurt by getting booed on draft day. when was that...7 years ago?

There is more but that's the basic gist. He's not as loved as you might think. The only do no evil Eagles in this city are Dawkins and Westbrook.

He may be the starter at the beginning of the season, but he won't last.

No way Lovie sticks with him after what he let happen this season.

You guys want to believe more experience makes him better. I didn't see him get better from game 1 to 19 this season.

He isn't gonna get taller, throw better, or run any faster. Simply put the talent is just not there.

at what point during the Super Bowl did you feel that Rex was going to put it together and lead the team to victory?
he doesnt make his reads, only hit his checkdowns when he was about to be sacked, and had numerous self inflicted turnovers.

and you want to tell the rest of the team that he will come back next year and lead them to victory?

I have said it before and I will say it again...

If you think he doesn't have the talent you are smoking something... throws one of the best deep balls in the game... has a cannon for an arm and can make any throw....

his problem is his reads at times, he lackadaisical attitude at times, and his inexperience... it has nothing to do with his talent... he has more talent then 99% of the QB's in the NFL... They talk about a QB that can make all the throws that he can do...

he needs to work on mechanics and fundamentals... AND stop with the Kyle Orton comparison... Orton did not once win us a game... Kyle Ortons numbers were terrible and is not a good comparison... he couldn't make all the throws...

I have said it before and I will say it again He will start every game next year... there is not a question... I do not understand the ridicule this kid gets in his first full season...

Also you do not usually get better as the year goes on in your first year... the league figures you out and you are not good enough to make the adjustments yet...

Philip Rivers got much worse as the year went on... so should they bench him? No you give QB's a chance... and hopefully Rex rewards his coaches...

yes I do... he can make every throw... look at rivers at the end of the year look at them both in college... in what aspect of the game does he have more talent...

rivers arm isn't as good as rex's and his accuracy is better then rex's I would say they are very similar... personalities are way different and Rex threw the ball downfield more... i think they will both be pretty good NFL qb's when it is all said and done

Dude you are right he will start, But I will tell you right NOW, the Bears will not win 5 games next yr with Grossman at Qb. He is just not that good, and you like many of my Chicago Bear fan Friends are drinking way to Much Bear orange and Blue Kool-aid. I hope I am wrong and you can Bump this next yr and tell me they are on there way to the SuperBowl again
