If they went 5-for-12 and San Diego State stayed stone cold with their 2-for-11, then yes...San Diego State isn't exactly on fire. They are just dominating the game.
Edit: San Diego State 3-for-12 and Air Force 2-for-16...yet San Diego State is up 19 points.

but san diego state was bar none my worst beat in recent memory in that game. they completely folded in the final 1:00. my ass still hurts from that one. those that remember that game need no explanation.

Hate to say it, but Fisher is a horrible coach. Great recruiter, but horrible coach. Rolls out the ball and lets the kids play street ball. These kids rarely work for a shot, if I had a dollar for everytime the first guy who got down court and pulled up for a 3 (and missed) I'd be a rich man. A perfect example is last year's first round NCAA game against Indiana. Absolutely brutal. Double digit lead and Fisher just let them keep firing shots off with 20+ seconds on the play clock
