I am slowly reupping and trying to manage a small amount at numerous books (6 books right now). Depositing $500 at a time in these books and betting $100 at a time.

Not letting any one book get over $1,500 at a time in it.

Like to have between 3-14 bets (with juice) in it at a time. This is my comfort level currently.

each over 5 figs or combined 5 figs? Either way still good to here. One of my books I have went into the 2k range and may pull out some tonite. Seems to be my breaking point.

I'm picking my spots carefully right now and only using 1 book. I have $6K there (this is 1/3 of my bankroll) The rest is either on it way to me, in cash in hiding spots at my house or in my bank account.

I plan to keep 30-40% of my bankroll online and will move to using 3-4 books in a few weeks as soon as I determine which ones are good for me for now.

I used to keep 95% of my money online because I could just use my Neteller debit card quickly to access it if needed. I also was using 7 books regularly and had an additional 8 outs I would up at only when they had the best line and then once a month or so cashout my balance at each back up out all at the same time then rebalance.

Right now I think just using 3-4 books is what I'll feel the safest with and keeping no more than 40% online.

I don't need much money. Just $2K or so per month and I make money affiliating poker which more than covers it, so I get lazy with managing where my bankroll is. Now I won't be so lazy and will manage it much better.

When next football season starts I figure the industry will be more than stable by then. Those who remained reliable from now to then I'll move to and probably use a dozen books again so long as their is a low cost option to move funds between books. If not I'll pay the extra couple bucks in juice on occasion and stick to my most frequently used outs.

I have about 5000 in an outfit in Panama, called BestLine Sports. They have a great online presence, though not heavily visited. I have Neteller account in Panama and my wife has one in Canada, and those are managed with 2 different computers, one with an VPN in Panama and one in Canada so Neteller doesn't bother me at all.

You can safely keep six figures at Pinny, Olympic(TheGreek) or WSEX I'd say. There are probably others but these are the ones I'd trust with most of my life savings without flinching. (so yeah, I'm not a millionaire, but at least I'm a 6 figure-aire. That's gotta be worth something too, right? :>Grin> )

Having a policy to keep max X amount at any book is not too smart IMO. Books are radically different. Some you can trust with huge amounts, while others you can't trust at all.

yes, but we don't know what large for him is and which books he is at. If you see good lines at one book versus another and you were playing $100 a game would yiou bet a --115 line or a-110 line? see if you can keep track of which book has the best lines out of the six books you have then, if they payout in a timely manner then keep more of your funds there.

the other thing to factor in is not only which books you trust, but you almost have to speculate which book won't have legal problems and if they do have heat applied to them will they burn up or fade away.

(Trust in book * chance of book getting popped) / # of trusted funding methods ^timeofyear {media attention}+value of the wager * need for action = amount to keep in a book
