Atlantic City BJ Tips

Hey -- I plan on going to AC either this weekend or next weekend. I've only played in Vegas, and when I played, I played pretty low limits (range 15-100).

For this trip, I plan on playing 25-300 (approx), with a bankroll of 8000 for the trip.

Can anyone provide tips for which casino's are the best for this type of BJ, I will be playing basic strategy only (for AC's soft17 stand).

I believe most casinos use 8 decks, is that correct?

One thing I can suggest is playing basic strategy and keep increasing your bets by 50% when you're winning and once you lose go straight back to your original bet.

I've tried searching the net for info on current AC rules and what casino rules there are. I know that most is regulated by the NJ gaming commisson, but I can't seem to find what the conditions are at various casinos, in terms of # of decks, peneteration, etc. Anyone know?

Whenever you're winning with a non-asian dealer...and they do a dealer switch to an Asian dealer...get up out of your seat and leave.

That is funny shit but I don't play against the Asian dealers, they bring the casino good luck and when you are winning they definitely switch you to an Asian dealer.

Good luck in AC! You should check out Frank Scoblete's online newsletter - he does monthly reviews of all the AC casinos and points out which are best for blackjack. It changes because some casinos start using more 6 deck shoes, penetration is better at some places than others, etc.

The site is "bjinsider.com". I believe Borgata and Taj have tended to rate the highest with him lately.
