Duke-Carolina going at it tonight one of the more popular ones...I'm not sure this is the best one out there currently as Duke is having a down year and before last year Carolina had struggled.

So, who is the best rivalry in all of sports at this time?

Who do you like tonight Buster?

Duke hasn't been a 4 point dog in Durham in many moons, I am guessing.

Pat/Colts was good, however...

Nothing better than duke/unc, because even when one program has a down year the games are always down to the wire.

:lolBIG::ughhh:

Like you mean before last year when they won the National Championship?

Duke-UNC is a top 2 or 3 rivalry in all of sports still. OSU-Michigan college football would be up there along with, at the moment, Colts-Patriots

Dated, and a bit of a homer call, but I used to wait the entire football season for the game that finally mattered---Neb vs. OU with Keith Jackson in the booth.

Of course the Big 12 had to screw that up when they expanded from 8.

Edit-No, I didn't see that this thread said "Current"!

College rivalries will always be better than pro rivlaries...

and if you don't understand that after watching ESPN classic today for past UNC-Duke games, then you are not a very smart man

I just read and noticed the same thing. SOme truly great rivalries but none come close to the Red Sox and Yankees. Not even close....

Is it a rivalry when one team gets dominated by the other (and it's not even close)?

I've said this for a while, and will continue to say it...the reason why the Red Sox will NEVER become a better franchise than the Yankees.

The Red Sox and their fans are obsessed with beating the Yankees.

The Yankees and their fans are obsessed with beating EVERYONE.
