Just when I think I'm getting into NBA or CBB, the refs pull me out

How much longer until we give this sport the credibility we give boxing? I remember last year we had a fantastic NBA playoffs and then Game 5 of the Finals happened (the most questionably officiated game I've ever seen). Now after watching the amazing Durant and Duke-UNC last nite I get excited for ND-Depaul and watch a Notre Dame player get fouled by 2 Depaul players in the last 5 seconds and see it not called.

you don't get those calls on the road in the last couple of minutes. Looked like chandler got the ball.

Yeah, he did...AFTER he bumped the fuck out of Kurz so hard that he couldn't even get off the ground.

That was a horrendous no-call.

Granted, ND wouldn't have needed it had they just protected the ball when they were up 1 and Depaul was going to foul...but still, that was ridiculous.

A lot of no calls in basketball closer to the end of the game...not sure why...does a certain time dictate how hard you can get fouled without getting a call?

Refs tend to swallow their whistles at the end of games because they don't want to be the ones who determine the outcome of the game, if possible.
