This is quite impressive by the guy who plays poker at halftime.

Somebody posted this on saturday and said there was a big bet between them?

Stevenson looks like he is a bit annoyed.

It just goes to show how impressive NBA players are when it comes to shooting the basketball. The fact that they can hit these kind of percentages from out there is mind boggling.

I wouldn't go that far. Arenas is just a freak. Most players can't shoot like that at all. And that one-handed stuff from that distance is damn hard. 95% of NBA players can't do anything like that.

Wait do you really think that it is just guys like Arenas?

Have you guys ever seen a pre game warm up it is the most incredible thing I have ever seen... These guys just make shots like it is nothing... When they have no one on them they are unreal... And the Scary thing to think about is what would a guy like Kyle Korver, Steve Kerr, or Kapono would do with all the time to shoot in the world in a practice situation like this? A guy like Kerr may drain 85+ which is just staggering... I think I am sick when I hit like 45% in a pickup game... Or when I hit like 14 in an un timed three point competition... these guys are just too good

I was talking about Stevenson. An average NBA player by most standards yet can hit 75% on 3's when shooting around for 100 shots.

What I think is unfair though is that yeah GIlbert made that many but shooting a two handed NBA three is much harder then shooting a one handed three when your hands are the size of Gilberts... DON'T get me wrong both of those are damn hard... just think that when your hands are that big it isn't as hard haha...

Gilbert is being very annoying because I don't think he wants to lose which is fine... but Stevenson didn't distract him like that haha

Remember they shoot many thousands of shots each week, practice practice practice.

Anyone who shot the ball 500-1000 times a day, every day, who has any athletic abilty, would knock down a very decent percentage after a few years of doing this....especially when no one is guarding you and you are shooting in rythym from the same spot.

Journey you still have to have the talent to do it... That is why not everyone can play pro sports... these kids developed there jumpers on the playground and were probably draining them like that there... I live right by the Maywood courts... have seen guys like Dee Brown, Shannon Brown, Carlisle, Finley, and Doc play on those courts. I don't remember Finley as I was like two... but If u watch these gusy they are just so much better... Dee and Shannon used to go out in 8th grade and just dominate everyone... Better shooters and would make the most stupid shots you have ever seen... these guys are on another level... you can practice all you want but in the end you got to be damn good to be that good....

Dee and Shannon had a shoot off one summer when they are sophomores in high school... went to the courts and hit a number around what Gilbert did... And then kids would challenge them and be lucky to make 40... just awsome to watch... They got another kid at Proviso that is a freshman that is going to be dynamite... look out for him... Talk about a basketball gold mine... it is by far the #1 Public high school basketball team

The average NBA player cannot hit 75% on 3's in practice. No way.

Of course you have to have talent...there are natural shooters all over the place...you have to have height and incredible quickness just to think about making the NBA...I think you can teach most anyone to shoot a basketball with success...the college three point line is a layup .

Atleast 55% , the real sharp shooters 70-75%...even the big giants like Ming could knock down over 50% in practice.

So you are saying Stevenson is an above average NBA player? He just hit over 80% on those 100 threes he took in the video if I am not mistaken.

I think Stevenson is better than most realize.

I agree. I watched him play in Fresno in high school at Washington Union. He was ridiculous.

But I don't think he is one of the league's elite shooters. That was my only point.

Yeah, stevenson is a mediocre shooter and that is being kind, by NBA standards. Underrated slightly as a player in general though, like journey said.
