What credit cards do you guys use to get the most back from spending?

Read Iceman's thread on ideas on how to save money and, because there were so many people mentioning the use of credit cards, thought it might be good to ask what card everyone is using to get the best rebates, rewards, etc.

I mostly use my HSBC 2% cash back for all purchases and a Chase BP gas card that gets me 5% back on gas purchases.

Also, if you guys really like eating out, you should register your cards at the rewardsnetwork.com, there are a lot of restaurants that are part of the network and you get between 10-20% back from whatever you charge on your card at the restaurant, including alcohol and gratuity. Personally, I love eating out and I waste entirely too much money on that weakness. It helps that I've gotten a few thousand dollars back over the past year or so by eating at restaurants that are part of the network.

chase freedom cash gives 3% on all gas, grocery, and dining, 1 everywhere else, also everytime you earn $200 cash back, you get an extra $50 free, (no limit) i have it and it is awesome

Discover rocks! Every quarter they give a certain area that gives 5% back, sometimes gas, home repair, a lot of different ones and everything else is 2%.

Dinersclub can save you 20%/meal, still nice, but they certainly dont have the selection they did 10 years ago... Kind of like they stopped updating, but more and more places opened.

Amex gives good ones. I get free hotel stays.

GM mastercard is good too, I've had as much as $2500 on a new car. Hint: Don't tell the dealer until you have closed the deal.

Real key is to charge EVERYTHING. Very easy to get some great rebates.
