Offshore environment currently unfriendly at best, but I still remain active, albeit at one shop only.

Went back to trying to use locals more this past month and.......

#1 Will no longer take bets on NCAA or NBA totals.

#2 Only gives NCAA totals on TV games :nopityA:

#3 Gives me his line and 15 minutes later I call him with my bet then he tells me the line has changed by two points against me. Prick.

#4 Obviously figured out what games I was middling him on with his bad lines and stopped taking my action all together.

I have never been this frustrated with gambling ever! Uggghhh.

Real simple solution to that...take the other side after he changes a line like that.

If he cuts you off find a way to put him out of business since crooks like him are a disgrace to the bookmaking profession.

I'm not a big fan of using my local but he's a straight up guy and runs his business through telephone and web. Pretty sweet setup.

I hope you can find one in your area.

If I were a bookie, hell Id give lines on everything I think.......I can see why they are afriad of posting totals on hoops I suppose, but still.

Small time locals have zero chances of balancing action and have to rely on players just plain losing because of the rules and juice charged etc. they have to play against. Samll time locals do not earn based on a hold on volume like large sportsbooks. Many times the weekly figures of one or two larger players will decide a bookies week with the smaller guys generating revenue that can easily by wiped out by one or two of the big players winning even moderate amounts.
