My personal take on GRUDEN.............very, very overrated coach up until this past season..............but with the discontent with him now from the TB fans/media, he is now gone to being very overrated to underappreciated and underrated in less than 18 months.....................such is the nature of head coach in the NFL i guess.

Gruden is a horrible coach. I would be shocked if the Philly fans accepted him since he was the OC that benched Randall Cunningham and ended his career in Philly.

He is probably a top 3 coach and a bottom 3 GM. Thats his downfall, player signings. When he had the ponys in OAK and TB, he did very very well. He should have had a SB with OAK too, IMO.

Gruden was so overrated from his days in Oakland to his inherited first year in Tampa. How many offensive coaches are truly great in the NFL? It is the defensive minded coaches that have the big time success.

WHAT!

I would consider Reid to be the 2nd or 3rd best coach in the league. No way Philly lets him go without a fight.

I actually agree with Chop.

Fish i think your sources have been reading that garbage site profootballtalk.com. where they post shit as rumors when they hear 2 teenagers make up scenarios like "hey wouldn't it be cool if john gruden went back to philly to coach?"

Your out of your mind if you think the Eagles will tell reid to leave. If you think thats crazy, thats your problem.

Only an idiot would believe the Eagles would do that.

He may be the best coach in the league period, and the EAGLES are thrilled with him, and would never dream of getting rid of him.

I would say he is safer than probably any coach in the entire NFL right now.

I would bet my life that you will never see Grudan in Philly, and I will also bet there is zero chance of Reid leaving in the next 3 year non-volentarly.

Where do you read this stuff?

Reid may just sit out the season too. Have to wish for the best with him and his kids. Really a tough situation for Reid and the Eagles.

If he doesn't come back, I'll throw out a darkhorse for the job - Ron Rivera. He did coach under Reid until leaving for the Bears.
