i was cruising along this year with a healthy account balance, doing pretty well all in all.then came yesterday, which was sunday. got a little too comfortable and got pummeled with an 0-6 day! mother-fer, i think i blew half of my balance in 1 freaking day. and i feel sick. lost my disipline i guess, as i rarely bet 6 games in 1 day.
can you relate? gotta build it up again slowly. jeez, it takes weeks to build a nice balance, and 1 day of indescretion to blow it.be careful friends, know when to cut your losses.don't chase the losses with more losses.:smoking:

Yep, at one time or another it happens to every long time gambler. Think of it as a learning experience. Those terrible days SUCK but are inevitable. They happen.

and its some tough plays to make after an 0-6 day, right? unlike coming off a good day, when you can't wait to play.i had a strong friday and saturday, making me too bold on sunday. holy crap, i need some winners.:smoker2:

If you stick to a single unit for each play you will be protected from going on tilt. It is tough to do, but you never have to worry about going over the edge. It becomes more of a job if you do it that way, but it at least keeps the blowups limited. Some day I will take my own advice as well.

Oh those dreaded days. It feels so hard to win money and get that balance up to a nice amount but so freakin easy to lose it when you have a day like that.

I hate those days so much

doc, if you played 6 games on Sunday, I can only imagine how many wagers you placed on Saturday? I'm making the over/under 22. This was bound to happen. Good Luck

Doc, hang in there. It happens to everyone. I have experienced 0-9 earlier on this year. You just need to make sure you're discipline enough with your unit sizes.
