I am kind of a crazy gambler. No restraint. Teasers,Parlays, will bet my whole roll if i really like a game.

Im trying to adjust and be more calm and practical cause the swings the other way are driving me nuts.

So I am going to have two accounts. One for the crazy and one for the not. Start out with same amount and see how i do over certain periods. I need to prove to myself I can do even better doing it calm and calculated.

What would you consider a good percentage of your roll to play on one game if i was doing this "right" Also do you better more or less on how much you like a pick or just a flat amount on every game.

Thanks for any thoughts

Kind of a 'crazy gambler's' usually end up broke....time to pay...good name for you.

For someone with your approach I would suggest 1% - 3% , the crazy will go broke first almost every time.

Losers will always chase, bet parlays, TV games, double down, locks...it takes discipline more than anything else.

Consensus is generally around 2%.

You'll get varying opinions here. Personally, I flat bet on most things, except politics, where I feel I have a greater edge. I was once advised to flat bet, until such time as I get more comfortable grading my plays. Given the likely emotional bias that drives your gambling (based on what you said) I'd advise you to flat bet, too, until you demonstrate more control.
