Just completed 100 hours of play at DERBY LANE playing $2 limit with a 10% $5 max rake and netted $241 profit..................would like to see anybody do that here on their first 100 hours at Derby Lane..............would lay 2-1 with ANYBODY they couldn't do it(and they have to tip a minimum 50 cent tip every winning hand).

I'm sure you'll admit the cards must've run over you, cause $2 limit is pretty much no fold em holdem.

1 tournament and give me odds and I will bet the highest odds on the board as 1 tournament almost anything can happen. I will be damned if I bet the favoirte in that setting. 95% of poker players are about the same level.

I once thought I was one of the best. I cashed in the 2005 WSOP and was ready to take on the world. Well the world has taken me to the cleaners for the most part since then.

I still think over the course of 1000 tournaments I would earn more money than 98% of the posters here.

No doubt luck plays a part in holdem, but to think 95% of players are on the same level is laughable.

I don't doubt that at all fish, you are probably an excellent player, I'm just saying you must have been on quite a heater to win that much in such a small game, not a whole lot of bluffing can be done with a 2 dollar max bet.

i think i am but whose to say.........1990 and 1991 made a living playing from 10-20 up to 30-60 at cali card clubs.........too much stress mentally could not do it anymore..so i am out on reconsideration

It's really a completely different brand of poker, your exactly right.

Think I've adjusted well..........will be interesting to see how I do in the next 100 hours...........which may take 4 months to accomplish.

But trust me, winning $241 after 100 hours in this game is a HUGE, HUGE accomplishment.............believe me.

You're kidding right?!?! Seen it done many times. All posters from TO can attest to this. Every summer at the CNE see guys win well over a grand at the 5-10 tables in 8 hours!!!(1-2 x 5 = 5-10. 241 x 5=1205) Loosest games you'll ever see!

My mistake fish, I thought you had won the $241 in a single session. To be that many bets ahead over a period of time as lenghty as 100 hours is indeed an impressive feet. :103631605
