God did the Chargers screw this up. If you were going to fire him, do it after the playoff loss. Wade Phillips or Cam wouldve been the head coach and whole staff would be in tact. The bottom line is Dean and Alex Spanos are terrible owners and they never nipped the AJ/Marty dispute in the bud.

whorman, i think they are better off without Wade Phillips IMO.

Let them go out and get a good young aggresive head coach. Or how about luring Jimmy Johnson out of retirement to lead an already stocked team to the promised land.

you would think they would have a good plan in place before they make a move like that but i doubt it with this ownership.

AJ must hate Marty so much he didn't want him coaching the Steelers, Cowboys, Cardinals, Dolphins, etc... Marty would've been hired in a second before all 4 of those coaches.
