I don't know what it is but today I just got sick of betting for some reason. I've done well the past few weeks, but I'm just tired of it. I don't know why.

I didn't bet, but I don't think I've had a losing day in over a week.

I bet every day from around July to the Super Bowl. Cashed out of my accounts and stopped cold turkey. Missed it for a few nights but it was nice not to worry about cbb for 10 hours on a saturday. Sucks though because there is good money to be made.

I get sick of it all the time......just comes a time where I realize I need to get out and away from it for a while and have fun. Winning, losing...I just dont feel like sitting in front of my computer or TV anymore worrying about it

Place your bets and then call it a day - try not to watch/worry.

I agree but the CBB 2H bets have been profitable lately. I will definitely take this approach when MLB starts.

I begin to force stuff when I get burn out . I had a really bad november '06 playing sports. And that is usually such an easy month since all the stats are in on the teams. Merry XMAS books.

I take the occasional day off of betting from superbowl til MLB starts. Then its everyday during baseball season and that takes me til Football again. But a total of about 30 days off a year. One family vacation a year for a week and personal(away from the computer) 3 day weekends for the rest of my breaks.
I don't find this stressful as some do. If I lost my entire bankroll tomorrow I wouldn't be stressed or pissed. I've done this for so long now that the stress and nervousness of watching a scoreboard is no longer there. Sure it would suck to lose 5k but I've gotten my investment out so many times over, that it wouldn't affect me personally to lose.

Yes, of course. Problem is there is no two ways to do this. You are either all in or not. I have to immerse myself totally. Halftimes are important and paying attention and watching so there is constant factor of being involved. It has its moments for sure.

People get burned out consistently losing and having huge up and down swings with their bankroll. Nobody gets burned out winning. Do you really think some of these "so called winning bettors" in the sports forums actually grind out a profit? Good Luck
