I've played in Vegas a few times and every time I've been there I've left my chips on the table when I went to the bathroom. The dealer said this was ok there would be no problem.
I saw many others do that as well.

I played in AC and when I left my chips on the table (asked the dealer to put a marker at the BJ table for me) I came back and he said next time I should take my chips with me.

So I colored in after each time, but I almost felt as if that would be worse to walk away with thousands of dollars in chips in my pocket while I go to the bathroom.

Anyone have any thoughts? I was playing by myself so there was no one to have watch it. :money8:

Thanks, I've been a lurker for a while. I'm almost more concerened about someone seeing me leaving with chips worth thousands and following me into teh bathroom. I know something bad happens rarely, but I'm just wondering why in AC they don't want you to leave your chips on the table. Can't they put a clear box or something around it?

If you don't mind my asking, what casino were you playing in? I've never had a problem leaving chips at a table to go and take a break, even extended for meals, etc.
