tired of valentines day as it is a cash raket only. have bought jewlery, flowers, chocoltes, etc in the past, but was thinking about just getting a card and stuffing it with $100 and saying go to spa or something.

what else is everyone getting someone for valentines day.

man it doesnt stop there as i also have a crush and fond love for a married woman, but she likes me just as much and is a former swinger and her husband lets her play with other men, but feelings are being developed at an alarming rate.

maybe youre right.

was thinking about something different instead of the usual flowers and chocolates as it gets old. so maybe a gift certificate to a spa then, but why not just hand over the money and say here go to spa instead of wasting time peddling up there myself.

have 3 broads to buy for.

I love the spa. Love it love it love it. That said, I hate getting a spa gift certificate as a gift from a man. With all due respect, it's pretty easy, it's impersonal, and the man himself generally knows nothing about it. My best friend could get me that as a gift, and it would make sense. But from a man, it's just one of those standard 'I-don't-know-what-to-get-so-I'll-get-this' gift.

My boyfriend and I made a deal last week that we would ignore our first Valentine's Day, so that we don't set a precedent of caring about it. Neither of us got each other anything.

But then again, I bet on sports. What do I know about women?
