I went in for a physical last spring. The doctor told me I had a double henia. I hadn't had any pain before that. The specialist that he sent me to told me to have the surgery because it wasn't going to go away. I had the lathroscopic. The first 5 days after the surgery were tough as it was very difficult for me to get off the couch. After that it was fairly painless. I was out of work for 3 weeks. I feel fine (just as I did before the surgery). The worst part about the whole thing was trying to take a shit for the first time after the surgery. Now I know what it must feel like to give birth. I would go get it checked out by your doctor. You don't want to wait until it's too late and you rupture.
Had a pain for the last few months. Comes and goes, but sometimes its very painful. Shooting a pain all the way through my abs and my neck. Can't figure out what it is.
I have documented at this site what my recovery was like and it was nothing like your's. I was miserable for a month and could barely walk for three weeks. Nightmare of a situation for me, it was the most painful experience I have ever gone through.
teddykgb should be in here with his prognosis soon...
Thanks for the replies fellas, will probably go to the doc and find out.
