If its the one I am thinking about, it used to be an apartment complex that sits right on the corner of Flamingo and Koval. Likely owned by the Hilton. Its a time share in other words. Its an okay location. A bit of a walk to the strip, not where I would want to stay on my honeymoon or any of the properties that go inward from there. Not saying its not nice, but there is better I am sure.
I've stayed there several times while traveling with my girlfriend, she's a Flight Attendant with Continental and that used to be the Crews hotel on overnights.
We had the Presidential Suite once and it was pretty nice. The rooms vary so you may want to have a $20 in your hand when checking in.
Like another poster mentioned it is across the street from the Hard Rock. Should add some excitement to your trip crossing 6 lanes of traffic.
I'd personally spring for a nice room at a strip hotel right in the thick of the action.

Yes, many flight crews from different airlines stay there.............great place to pick-up female flight attendants.
Street whores partol the street outside the ST. TROPAZ frequently..........and the apartment complex across the street is a major drug dropoff/pickoff location.
Well I Can Tell You Alot Im A Manager For A Security Company And Right Next To The Hotel Theres A Market, And A Lot Where Theres 2 Places To Eat. The Area Is A Bad Place Theres Alot Whores Walking Around Meaning Crack Whores And Theres Alot Drugs There Alot Of People Stay Just A Block Away At A Weekly Called Harbor Island And Thats A Big Place To Buy Drugs Alot Of People Got Busted There. The Good News It Has Clean Up Some, So If You Stay Come To The Market Next Door And Ask For Security Im There Between 8pm To 12am Everyday Except Tuesday And Say Hi Bill
