Just wondering who is going to endure long waits at restaurants just to eat out tonight.

I'm work at a restaurant and I expect it to be busy. We're not taking reservations. Just first come first serve.

I just wonder why people would want to go out to eat on Valentine's Day when you know anywhere w/ good food that you go will be packed. If you don't go early you're going to be waiting a very long time. However I know many do not care and go out to eat anyways.

I went out on Monday when there were no line ups.

Today is just another day.

That's how I see it. It's just another day. Yet a lot of people decide to go out to eat tonight. Not yesterday. Not tomorrow. Tonight.

Leaving now for work. I hope I survive the invasion of the couples.

Neat. What have you heard about this place other than seeing it everyday near your work? This location may be great for me & my gal to dine someday since she goes to school at Gallaudet & lives in Landover while I work in the Skyline area in VA.

Not me. I got a nice bottle of wine today to go with the steak dinner I am going to cook. No driving after drinking and just a private celebration.

Calvin, I haven't ate there before, but have had several people tell me nothing but good things about it. I was checking out the website in the middle of my search for where to eat and I liked what I saw, and I was able to place my reservations online right then which made it an easy choice. I'll tell you of my experience in this thread tomorrow.

Thanks for keeping me updated. Yes, I saw the potential of placing reservations online. Great for me as I'm deaf so no need to use relay service over the Internet to make a phone call.

Yes, a small world with a lot of us working/living in DC/MD/VA!
