I am having an argument with someone about who the better nba player
was here. I would have to think Glen Rice in my mind was better. Mashburn averaged more career wise at the end, but Rice's last couple of years really hurt him. I also think Rice was the better leader. Mashburn averaged more assists and boards but i would still say Rice.

when I think Glen Rice - I instantly think shooter...Mash had a better all around game.

I would take Rice's career over Mashburn, but Mashburn was the better player talent wise.

Mashburn hands down. Its a shame his career was shorten due to injuries because he really perfected that Monster Mash Fadeaway. It's even more beautiful than the stuff MJ was shooting near the end of his career.

Rice...

Top 3 long range bomber of his time...once avg'd 26 a game had a better career....Mash had the talent to be one of the very best and just when he appeared to be headed there had all those injury problems...I'd take Rice's career.

Overall gotta go with Rice. If I could take the best 2-3 year period I would go with Mash, he had a much better all-around game. Loved him at Kentucky, he was so good they would just put two guys on the left, two on the right, give him the ball at the top of the key and say stop me if you can, because you can't!

what are you asking, in general? who had the better career?

or if we could rewind 15 years which player would we rather draft, not knowing if health would hold up. if this was the case I think Mashburn is an easy pick

who would you rather face. If i was the opposing team i would rather face
Mashburn. A hot Rice could bury you.

SARAH PALIN
New Biography Claims Sarah Palin Had A One-Night Stand With Glen Rice In 1987

The National Enquirer grabbed some details from the upcoming Joe McGinniss Sarah Palin book, and this chunk is too delightful not to share with you immediately. Apparently Palin had a fling with former Heat/Hornet/Laker Glen Rice while he was in college and while she was a sports reporter in Alaska, all the way back in 1987. Rice confirms it in the book.
Here's the Enquirer:

In the book, which will be published on September 20th, McGinniss claims Sarah had a steamy interracial hookup with basketball stud Glen Rice less than a year before she eloped with her husband Todd.

Sarah hooked up with the NBA great, then a 6-foot-8 junior at the University of Michigan when he was playing in a college basketball tournament in Alaska in 1987, the book says. At the time, Sarah, just out of college, was working as a sports reporter for the Anchorage TV station KTUU.

A publishing source told The ENQUIRER that McGinniss claims Sarah had a "fetish" for black men at the time and he quotes a friend as saying Sarah had "hauled (Rice's) ass down."

This is a tuff one. Mash being an all around better player, but Rice jump shot was money. They both are kind of at that same level, good players, all stars but not sure who I would take It would depend on the team I had for who I would take.
