TAMPA IS A REALLY GREAT TOWN TO VISIT as well as a good event HOST---
Hope the city can shine!!
Only wish the RAYS would move to EAST Hillsbourough I4 and I75 (drawing from STPETE, TAMPA, ORLANDO, as well as all parts north south and east and all the toursists in this state (a 100% no brainer)) and all would be good here.

The ACC Basketball Tournament takes place the first part of every March. Over 4 days 11 games will be played in a single elimination tournament. On the first two days, 4 games are played each day. On the third day, 2 semifinal games are played with the championship game taking place on day 4.

The tournament rotates from city to city but will always be played in or near an ACC school. This year, Tampa will host the 2007 ACC Tournament. All games will be played at the
St Pete Times Forum (official site) ,which is no stranger to big events.[/FONT]</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

You can always get a seat after a team loses in the first rd....people will leave and sell their seat.

Anywhere but Greensboro!

Duke , UNC and State have had an unfair advantage for decades as the tourney has been played there almost exclusively....very unfair.

Dsethi and I, as well as a friend of ours, are trying to get tickets and come down there for the weekend.

Unfortunately, they're expensive as balls. Think it's upwards of $600 a book.

5Team: Hope things go well in Tampa (I lived in Ocala for a long time and currently have friends in St. Pete)

I'm not sure what ACC school Tampa is close too. Obviously FSU and Miami, but "close" seems like a stretch to me.

I don't have the info in front of me, but I think it has been a real long time since the tournament has been played on a school's home court.
