Will arrive at the forum about 3 hours before they drop the puck.........as is par for the course for most home games...... and more so on bobblehead evenings.

Christ what the hell was wrong with Vinny/Martin exactly a year ago!!!! Would have destoryed everyone at the Olympics... instead we couldn't score a frickin' goal. (didn't help that Gretzky left off Crosby, Spezza, and Staal, for a bunch of fourth line muckers) Damn they're on fire a year too late.

WAY to much to lay at these price levels..............

PREVIEW: TAMPA - Olaf Kolzig has had a tough time stopping Vincent Vincent Lecavalier and the Tampa Bay Lightning this season. This time, he won't even get a chance to.
The Lightning look to win their third straight and continue their strong play against the Washington Capitals, who will be without Kolzig when the Southeast Division foes meet Thursday.
Kolzig hurt his knee Monday in practice and will be sidelined at last three weeks for the Capitals (23-26-8). He started all of Washington's games against Tampa Bay (32-24-2) this season, allowing 18 goals - five by Lecavalier - as the Lightning went 3-1-0.
Tampa Bay has won 5-4 in each of its last two games against the Capitals, and is 10-3-2 against them since Feb. 23, 2004.
The Lightning, in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff race, have won two straight since a 5-0 loss to the New York Rangers on Friday night and are 13-3-0 since Jan. 7.
Lecavalier had two goals and an assist to lead Tampa Bay to a 5-3 win over Phoenix on Tuesday night.
Lecavalier leads the NHL with a career-high 37 goals, five shy of tying Brian Bradley's team record set during the 1992-93 season.
Thursday's matchup pits Lecavalier and Washington's Alex Ovechkin in a matchup of two of the league's top goal scorers. Ovechkin has 34 goals, but just one in his last five games, while Lecavalier has scored 16 in his last 18 contests to go with 11 assists.
"He can be good a lot throughout a year, but he's being great more consistently," Lightning coach John Tortorella said of Lecavalier. "He has the ability and he's beginning to do that. That's a key for our hockey team."

Brad Richards

put the Lightning ahead 4-3 at 1:24 of the third period Tuesday with his 20th goal. He has reached the mark in five of his six NHL seasons.
Kolzig was injured during a drill at practice, a major blow to the Capitals' slim hopes of making the playoffs. Brent Johnson will now get most of the starts for Washington, which recalled goalie Frederic Cassivi from Hershey of the American Hockey League on Tuesday to be the primary backup.
Kolzig, 19-19-5 with a 3.06 goals-against average, is the team's longest-tenured player and one of its few veteran standouts.
"Olie means a great deal to the club on and off the ice," Capitals general manager George McPhee said. "Fortunately, this type of injury does not have long-term consequences. Brent Johnson has done his job well and is looking forward to starting on a consistent basis."
Johnson is 4-7-3 with a 3.86 GAA, but has lost each of his last four starts while allowing 19 goals. He is 4-1-0 with a tie and a 2.11 GAA in six games against the Lightning.
Ovechkin scored his first goal in five games Saturday night, but Washington lost 5-2 to the Rangers.
Both of the Captials' goals came on the power play - Chris Clark had the other - after the team had gone 0-for-15 with the extra man in its previous four games. Washington went 2-for-4 with the man advantage against New York after coach Glen Hanlon reconfigured the power-play unit Friday.

LECAVALIER was named MVP of the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS for team CANADA.............cut him some slack.

Amazing that CANADA left those three off the team though............for the OLYMPICS.

I am shocked that Lecavalier is the NHL goal scoring leader. I know he is amazing but I didn't think he had this type of potential. I can say good for him, he is good to watch but I did think at the 06 olympics that the 3 Tampa players shouldn't have made the team. Yes they have experience but 05/06 was a bad year for them as players and it showed on the team. You don't see other teams taking cold players because they have proved themselves. They take who is hot and who can help them. Also you always see other non Canadian teams picking younger players but mostly because they have to. If Canada keeps repeating the same formula then expect them to hurt their chances a little. I mean after all these rookies need to get some experience sometime now or later ...

No franchise can survive in Connecticut. The left mainly Fairfeild County are all New York teams and the other half is Boston territory. I kind of liked it that why when I lived there.
