OK,

I used my bank debit card last week to fund an account
just $200 ... Never had to do it before,as I had a bank account tied to the book, which since went-away,and had to use the debit, which worked fine.

I had a tip on some horses,which didn't come in (of'course)

Anyway ...I was going over my statement, and as of the other day, I saw the $200 pending in my withdrawl section ... but today the $200 wihdrawl is gone, and the $200 put back into my account.

Now ... I am SURE,the book wont get paid,
and I guess...I just STIFFED them.

Since it is Saturday .... I am sure the book isn;t aware of it yet.
I checked for messages at the book and/or emails ... nothing!

What's my next move here ?

thanks

Wait til they contact you then pay them before the collection agency ruins your credit.

Assuming they never contact you, which is highly unlikely, your in good shape

capt bone=deadbeat

How am i a deadbeat? The bank will realize the error and you pay. I don't see the problem. You could just admit the problem yourself but it doesn't seem like that's what Bundy is looking to do, so I gave him another option of just waiting and then paying.

I wouldn't group my advice of what HE should do according to what he gave as background information with what I would do. :)

Chill out with the name calling.

You should contact the book and ask them what the best way to get them their $200 is...just like you would do if they owed you the money.

It will take the book AT LEAST 5-10 days to notice the mistake.

The problem is this. Lets say you make didnt lose all of the money and starting on a winning streak. The book would negate ALL BETS made with the $200 including winnings from the day of the $200 until you made another deposit.

I had no idea something like this would occur as I never had it happen to myself.

If this is the case, then call the book immediately and ask how to get them the money.

My apologies.

Could you imagine what would have happened if the horse had won?

The thread would have read "Bodog is stealing from me", after they closed his account and confiscated his funds. All of this because of the banks screw up.

No .. No ..

Nobody is STEALING from anyone!
Especially Bodog ... Never Ever had any problem at Bodog with an account.

Anyway ... I contacted the Book, they said everything is fine, and I DON'T owe them any money .... Hmmm!

They said wait a few days and see if it comes out again, which they said to me ... happens sometimes.

But as of right now, they said my account is OK.

Iv'e NEVER ran accross anything like this before, I thank everyone for their help in this matter.

As far as my STATEMENT goes, the transaction NEVER happend !!
It is totally gone.

It maybe a cut-off date thing with my statement, and like they said: It will probably show-up soon.

The IMPORTANT thing here is to remeber:

No One was STEALING anything from Anyone !

thank you

do the right thing. Karma a bitch

I think the "right" thing is all in someones perception of right and wrong. The right thing for books and casinos may be to offer fair odds. Granted we choose to gamble and I'm not making a claim either way on what this guy should do. I'm simply saying that the right thing is not absolute and could be interpreted in different ways.

Bank probably found out you were using the funds to wager on sports illegally, wants no part in getting caught part by the US govt, and is getting set to freeze your account and seize your funds.
