Don't get me wrong I still love the book and if you want some firsthand knowledge/expierence of them than feel free to ask me as they are extremley cusopmer friendly and very useful for what I have been doing.

It seems some people are fed up and have complained enough about the slow pays (and these are Canadian clients SBR says) enough for SBR to lower their grade.

Like I said not trying to run anyone into the ground right now. This is first and foremost a watchdog site so stuff like this should be reported for others to make decisions on.

I think we should all keep an openmind about how tough this is on the books right now but maybe this will make someone at BM get something in place a little faster, as this should be THEIR #1 GOAL GOING FORWARD!!!

I have posted this at least half a dozen times BetMania is not slow paying, by that I mean it is not like they are sitting on withdrawal requests because they do not have the money to pay winners. Their problem is one of withdrawal methods, when Neteller closed to US residents BetMania not only lost that method but the bank that was processing their paper checks and bank wires also decided to get out of the sportsbook procesing business leaving BetMania with just two methods right now to pay players. Those being MoneyGram and Western Union both are not cheap and Money Gram will only accept a few payouts per day (less than 10) from individual clients plus only up to $1500 per transaction. This created a backlog of withdrawals right after the super bowl that took longer than other books to process and is still being felt.

Mike Mitchell at BetMania is working very hard to set up a new processor bank arrangement but apparently many banks are hesitant to enter that particular market these days (go figure). I know he is doing all that he can to expand the withdrawal options available to BetMania players. A handful of players (no more than 4 or 5) have asked me to check into their withdrawals and without any special favors for me they were all paid. I made one call late last week regarding a less than $1,000 withdrawal and was told the player should receive his funds early this week. Hopefully that will occur tommorow.

Anyone here at The Rx. with a withdrawal problem at BetMania can email me at wilheim@theRx.com and I will find out where the withdrawal stands and what day you can expect to receive it. To date no one has not been paid by BetMania.

Regarding Canadien players, I am not sure what differance that makes since Neteller is not a viable option for Canada anymore.

im not sure what you mean by this wil, but Canadians can still use Neteller as they always have.

ice, how would you rate this book in your personal experience?..example: money hard to get in/out?,opinions on their lines, when the line is up, i'm not worried about a max limit because i'm a small player anyways, just looking to add another book, but i've been cautious about these guys after reading about them lately..

My mistake, maybe I was thinking about the peer to peer - US to Canadien resident process that a few posters have emailed me about and claimed they were having some problems with. I will ask Mike what method he is using to pay Canadien residents that play at BetMania.

From what I read at SBR it is in regards to Canadian players who used Neteller is they were told they could w/d from them $2,500 one time over 2 weeks and BM paid them less and the word slow pay was used by SBR. It was enough to lower their grade which I feel is newsworthy for others to hear.

TS,
I have had nothing but great expierences with them in the past. I love the free half point they give on any hoop games and have done quite well with it so far. It is the best thing any book is offering out there right now (IMO).

I have also talked to Mike Mitchell and he is very professional and courteous and during the football season they have offered me big Bonus Plays and the like. The only thing I do not like is the timer they use to confirm your picks is rather long but they very rarely change the line with it I have noticed.

Also talked to Mr. Mitchell concering the whole w/d mess they are going thru and he seemed quite sincere with them getting something in place and I do beleieve it will happen very soon.

Sure seems easier to get the money in than it is to get the money out.

Why is that?

Aside from thier only option is moneygram and WU out.

Why can;t they purchase a giftcard and send me the "gift"

The only problem I had with this book was getting a bigger payout than $2500 per week. Then they kept changing their rules on me, and telling me to check back. But Wilheim assisted me in getting paid in full.

I think they are fine for a the recreational type player($50-$200) per game, anything above that you are limited on how much you can withdrawal per day/week/month.

Something doesn't sit right with me with this book. But they are still fairly new so this could be some of the problems they are facing now.

Just remember use common sense when dealing with new books(1-3 years) and if something doesn't smell right to you, take the measures to limit your exposure.

its possible that betmania no longer take Neteller, some books stopped Neteller for everyone, others are still using Neteller. Not sure on that one.

that would be a good idea and something they should be doing if they were wanting to pay but it seems this book is fishing for deposits to cover payouts look at above post they accept deposits LMFAO of course they do:ohno:

tell me why cant they purchase those virtual visa cards for clients requesting the money and send the clients the card #'s so the clients can deposit at good books?

Any Rxer should do all the due diligence possible before depositing at any book including BetMania. That does not change the fact that BetMania does advertise here which keeps The Rx. in close contact with them. I know that they are working hard to revamp their withdrawal process so they can get players paid more quickly than they are currently able to.

No one is forcing anyone to play there, our close friends SBR and Iceman says they are a now a C- and Clip Joint says don't play there. There is not much else I can say except to advise everyone to use their own judgement under any circumstances.

Let me repeat I am not critizing anyone here. I am just reporting something I have noticed. Just relaying a story.

In fact anyone can do a search about my dealings with BM the past weeks and you will read mostly positive stuff I have said about them. They must be doing something right in my eyes as they are 1 of only 6 books I am in currently and I LOVE THEM.

When they get this mess figured out they will be an A+ book in my eyes but right now they are a notch below that. I have refered 2 close frineds to this book in the past month (the only book these 2 players are at) and they have an OUTSTANDING EXPIERENCE there.

I apologize if some think I am being unfair about them, all I was saying is what SBR is reporting. This was not my opinion but I felt a newsworthy item for a watchdog site like the RX.

I say that because I am still a little confused about SBR ratings.

This is the kind of thread that makes me wonder about how some of you guys can come in here and say "how can you play at xyz book when SBR rates them d or c minus etc".. Then on the other hand a book like VIP is rated A+. there. Just doesn't make sense to me and for the record I have nothing at all against SBR and try to work with them (especially Bill Dozer) whenever possible to help a poster.

My point is if VIP is so bad how can they be rated A+ there? Take SBG Global and Sportsbook.com both D rated at SBR, is VIP that much better than them two but still as bad as you are making sound like in this thread?

SBR has been in bed with VIP since they had the most profitable affiliate terms in the industry. That is where the rating comes from. Nine.com had their ratings increased right after their affiliate terms improved as well (before joining the VIP group).

VIP is very similar to Sportsbook.com. I would give them both a D. SBG Global are thieves and should be an F in my opinion.

Boy people sure have gotten spoiled huh? These shops have no way to pay now but ck and its damn sure not easy to find a bank that wants to have money that the u.s. govt can seize at any given moment...you gotta work with these people now, its not a push button operation anymore guys !!
I used to wait 2 weeks to get checks from WWTS back in like 98 and was damn glad to get them!!! it was the only way to do it... back then you could deposit via western union but cks were the only withdrwal...the more things change the more they stay the same....
