Also.........

New York bolstered its defense Sunday by acquiring Marc-Andre Bergeron and a third-round draft pick in 2008 from Edmonton for Denis Grebeshkov in a swap of defensemen.
"This trade addresses our need for a quality offensive defenseman to improve our power play," Islanders general manager Garth Snow said.


Althought the PENS hold a 4-2 season edge on the ISLES, the teams are 1-1 at NY...........and the LAST FOUR have been at PITT.



Still debating...........but right now leaning quite strongly towards the ISLES and UNDER.

I like the ISLEs..........but here is what scares the crap out of me.

The PENS have not lost in regulation in their last 16 games!!!

I think its the perfect situation for the Pens streak to come to an end to bad the odds were'nt a bit better.

rare nhl play for me, got the Isles at -112 SU, how many more games are these pens going to win? but i do like the spot here, and a lot of close calls in those wins.

but then again i hate the nhl, just a little afternoon action

Like the SIDE more so then the TOTAL at this time..........probably going to make a play ONLY on the ISLES at this time..........hope the line continues to drop on the them.

Although most of us are on the ISLES, my choice would be the PENS feed between the two.............pick your poison.

Absolutely no value in betting on the Islanders at this point. It's Penguins or take the OVER/UNDER.

Pittsburgh goalie Marc-Andre Fleury is 2-0 in daytime games while Islanders goalie Ricky D is 2-2 in daytime with a GAA of only 1.98. So the under might be a good play but I like the Pens here.

Islanders and Over for moi. I still don't think the Penguins are this good and they should be tired today. Islanders are in a desperate battle for a playoff spot and they couldn't ask for a better situation today.

Billsfan is on the ISLES also.
