O.T. A buddy wants to sell me a 1999 Chevy S-10 with a totally new engine, how much?

He says it has less than 10 miles on it and the body on the vehicle is perfect, no dents. It is a stick shift.

He wants $2500-3,000. Good or no good?

I am not trying to steal this vehicle but more or less trying to figure out if this is standard for a new engine? This would be a work truck for me to use close to home. It is a 4 cynlindar.

this truck with 80,000 miles and an original engine could sell for what he's asking....."totally new" engine????? that would be about 1750 before installation. rebuilts are more in the 500-1200 range...
Either the installation did not go well and your getting a bucket of bolts or this guy likes you a lot....

yes. I have for a long time. Where have you been? I have my reasons. I will never change. If you dont like them dont read them. It's that simple.

I am probably one of a few who even has money offshore right now. Would love to talk about the industry but no one is involved or has anything to talk about.

Start a thread about something. Get some traffic going in this place, it is like a ghost town right now. Add something other than negative comments on here because I know I am sick of hearing about negative thoughts and opinions about the offshore industry.

Oh by the way I have too let you go. I have to start a thread about my favoirte condiment to use, have a good day and thanks for sharing.

good freind. Says the engine was $1,700 and than about $300 to put it in. He is hurting for money and needs the money.

why dont you enlighten us with some of those 40 to 50 plays a night and help us make some of that grand a week you talk about...

Do a search on it. We have had probably 3 HUGE THREADS this month on it and a few guys are now doing it. Maybe you will learn what you are looking for.

Don't get mad at me because you have been gone 6 months and then come back don't like the way things are going. Things change and times change.
