Did Tom Brady [stats]’s ex-galpal Bridget Moynahan see the clock running down on her three-year romance with the New England Patriots [team stats] QB/QT last fall and run a quarterback sneak of her own? That’s the prevailing opinion among friends of No. 12 who say Moynahan’s pregnancy was a relationship Hail Mary.
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR><TD height=8><SPACER height="8" width="8" type="block"></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE> “She totally knew it was coming,” said one F.O.T. “They were spending more time apart. She knew. She had to.”
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR><TD height=8><SPACER height="8" width="8" type="block"></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE> Said another: “She gives new meaning to ‘The Tuck Rule,’ in that she clearly ‘tucked away’ the birth control when she saw the writing on the wall. Now she’s set for life.”

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR><TD height=8><SPACER height="8" width="8" type="block"></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE> It’s no secret that Bridget, 36, wanted to marry and start a family. Tick, tock. But that wasn’t Tom’s game plan.
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR><TD height=8><SPACER height="8" width="8" type="block"></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE> “He’s 29 years old and at the top of his game,” said a bud. “Why would he?”

And while he will do the right thing by the child who will arrive this summer, he has no plans to marry Bridget.
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR><TD height=8><SPACER height="8" width="8" type="block"></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE> In fact, Bridgie’s baby announcement was dispatched as the dashing daddy-to-be was off tripping the light fantastic in the City of Light with his new squeeze, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, 26. Brady and the Victoria’s Secret sexpot started dating just weeks after he put B. on waivers.
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR><TD height=8><SPACER height="8" width="8" type="block"></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE> As mommy-to-be Moynahan was back in the States nibbling saltines and poring over baby books, the celebrity couple was caught on camera smooching in the window seat of Gisele’s fave Paris bistro, Cafe de la Paix. Other photos show the toothsome twosome (Tom looks so continental in his black scarf!) strolling the Right Bank to their suite at the ritzy Hotel Ritz.
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR><TD height=8><SPACER height="8" width="8" type="block"></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE> Tom and his Brazilian boo, who also took in a horse show at Versailles over the weekend, are in Paree at least until Thursday, we’re told. Gisele is there for this week’s launch of Cacharel’s fragrance “Liberte.” She’s their latest spokesbod. And then the lovey-dovey duo are off to Milan for Fashion Week where Tom is expected to have a front row seat when his $30 million glamour gal struts the runway at an event hosted by Dolce & Gabbana.

While it didn’t exactly work wonders for his relationship with B., it couldn’t hurt!

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR><TD height=8><SPACER height="8" width="8" type="block"></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE> “They won’t give me any information,” she groused to Moviesonline. “I don’t know what night, and I don’t know when the are going to start airing it. But they are shooting.”

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR><TD height=8><SPACER height="8" width="8" type="block"></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE> “I don’t think it will affect it any differently than any other celebrity’s pregnancy,” said one Hollywood casting director. “I believe the only thing it will affect, are the projects she may be attached to in the next nine months, that obviously, would have to be re-cast due to her situation.”
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR><TD height=8><SPACER height="8" width="8" type="block"></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE> The soon-to-be-single mom was in discussions to star in “Worst Nightmares” with “Little Miss Sunshine” dad Greg Kinnear and “Alias” hunk Michael Vartan as well as another women-centric flick in which she would star. And while Bridget buzz on both flicks has stopped, we shouldn’t take that as a bad sign, according to our Tinseltown talent spy. The baby may help her career.
