If wade is out for an extended period of time i predict a serious illness in Riley's future causing him to step down once again.

I would say it is just a dislocation... he'll miss 8-10 games max...

I have dislocated my shoulder pitching once... HOLY SHIT DOES IT HURT!!!!!

More painful then when I broke my leg... hurt 100 times more... that would explain his pain... but you can come back in 3 weeks from something like that...

riley is a piece of shit.

* got laker job by being a backstabber
* quits on knicks for the heat job
* quits on heat right before season three yrs ago
* stabs van gundy in the back after heat builds team back up
* quits on team this year because they were losing[please don't give me the hip garbage]
* comes back this yr after team gets to 500 and shaq comes back

if he's that great of a coach then win without wade. den played without melo and iverson, houst without yao[and doing very good].

You are way off on what makes a great NBA coach. It is not producing with mid level talent (once you do, they are no longer considered mid level anyway see Dwayne Wade). It is winning in the playoffs with superstar talent and superstar egos. You are the supreme babysitter. They play the game, a coach simply coaches it.

If Wade is out for the year that certainly changes the dynamics in the already pathetically weak Eastern Conf. Miami was going to be an ultra-dangerous low seed. They could possibly miss the playoffs now. They're still 2 games ahead in the 8th spot.

a great coach to me is winning without great talent. what jackson is doing with the lakers, van gundy with houst or avery with dallas. is wade great? no doubt. but that team has their whole team back from last year and still should be able to win. nba championship? no. but the fans down here are already giving up on the season. why?
i played d1 hoops, we lost our star and still had a very good year. you don't quit on your team.

Wvu, I Speak Crap. Look At The Starters For What Three Teams I Mentioned. You Think They Have A Ton Of Talent?

Lakers...smush, Walton, Bynum, Brown,pargo,cook

Houst..mutombo,howard,alston,head,hayes

Yeah, Those Are Your Every Day Stars. What Vangundy Is Doing With Houst Without Yao Is A Great Coaching Job.

I would like to know this also.

It is very difficult to lose a star player in basketball and still play well. In basketball you only have 5 players on the court at a time so a star player lost in basketball is a much greater loss than in most other sports.
