Great turnout the first week, as we had 30 players. As RoyalFan predicted, besides Matt, Bill Brasky would be the player to beat. Unknown to several of us, Bill got ahead early and never looked back. I'm sure this week several players are looking forward to knocking him out, as he and Go Flames Go are this weeks Bounty Players.

I will be playing after missing the 1st tourney by like a few minutes after waiting hours for the giftcard deposit going through this past Monday.

It was fun watching all 4 tables until the FT. I am hoping we try to beat the number of participants by at least ONE every week... so if we had 30 players last week, try for 31 or more this coming Monday!

That's what people say, yes. As an alternative (online method especially if you aren't near a Walgreen or they are out of those yellow cards), what I did was this way:

1.) Go to www.giftcards.com
2.) Choose consumer giftcards
3.) Pick the "VirtualGift" one
4.) Fill out the form FOR THE RECIPIENT including RECIPIENT's phone number and email address (back to yourself, in this case) and the amount value
5.) NOTE: If it's less than $250, it can be sent to someone else but if it's more than $250 and to maximum of $500, it must be sent to the PURCHASER.
6.) Pick any e-card (happy anniv, thank you, whatever, LOL) and feed your billing info
7.) Wait for the email that you have a "new virtualgift card"
8.) Now, being the recipient, you will be asked to first create an account with them before you can "activate the card" (when ordering the giftcard, you didn't make any account yet... it did confuse me a little bit)
9.) Log in as your new account and activate the card.

Now, this part was where vanzack and I had to wait more than 2 hours (they say "up to 2 hours")... but still within 4 hours, I got another email with all the card information included in the email. It was clever that they didn't have any text of the account number, but rather, it was on a GIF image, brilliant. You would need the new 16-digit account number and expiration date when you go to Stars.

In Stars, just go to the VISA deposit page and the rest is easy.

All done online for $2 fee (max deposit of $500 though). Can't complain. I paid the amount of the giftcard via my VISA debit card linked to my checking account. No problems. Will use it again if I need to.

you guys set yourself up an epassporte account and load it with a credit card......works like a charm. Once you do that, depositing into pokerstars through epassporte takes all of 30 seconds.....its soooooooooo easy.

I played last week. My PS handle is Prof211, since I got fed up of the computer telling me "this name is taken" instead of suggesting a related one.
