Actually making my picks? I look at the lines, and sometimes I have my picks within a minute. Sometimes I like to sleep on it after seeing the overnights, but actual trying to make a selection never more than 10 or 15 minutes...for college hoops at least because I focus on just the ACC now......also sometimes I will know what side I want but I will check the line several times throughout the day to see where its going before I bet it

I spend several hours a day on the RX though, I always have it open, partially because I'm bored and partially because I want to take in as much info as possible.

Everything involved in laying down money on a game.

The time spent thinking, reading other peoples opinions, discussing it with people, making your own lines, comparing yours to the books, waiting for the right line, watching the line movement...just everything up to the point you lay money down.

Pretty straight forward question.

Edit - Actually it isn't because some like ingame, and 2nd Half's are quicker where as you might thinking about the superbowl for 2 weeks. I guess I'm thinking of an AVERAGE.

It's gotten to be less and less over the years. I've made/lost just as much with wagers I spent days on working on vs wagers I spent only seconds thinking about.

10 to 30 minutes includes everything. For NHL, MLB and NFL I usually only ckeck out cover's matchups and look out a couple key stats and for nascar I mostly only check out racingone for a quick race preview and a few stats and thats it I dont look at anyone else's opinions and I dont like to over complicate things I like to keep it simple and that seems to work pretty good.

Although I will admit my weak point is knowing which way a line will move so I usually just bet it right after I do my capping and thats usually half early and most times I'm on the right side so it dont make a huge difference but if a line is way off I'll wait for it to move before I bet it.
