Makes no sense. USA ok. Canada not???

I think it has to do with when they got bought out or sold, they made an agreement not to go to that marker?

I could be completely wrong....

Canadian Customers
We have enjoyed the opportunity to serve you over the years. Regrettably, we will no longer be able to accept deposits from Canadian players effective immediately. You will maintain access to your account until April 1, 2007. If you currently have a balance you may continue to use any funds in your account until that date, at which point any remaining funds will be refunded to you and your account will be closed.

VIP (SBR rating A) and sister books no longer accepting new clients from the United States and Canada. Canada-based users will have access to their accounts until April 1st but new deposits will not be accepted. Existing U.S. customers that have deposited in the past may continue to use their accounts as normal. Phone wagering will no longer be offered. Customer service by phone will continue as normal.

It gets more and more bizarre every day.

I assume it has something to with charge backs. They stopped serving US and Canada because it became unprofitable not because of any legal threats.
